ABOUT
Sasha Bao, Co-Founder and Principal
Sasha is an investment professional who is versed in Alternative Investments, Venture Capital, Private Equity, Family Office and Special Situations, with 10 years of experience with investment banking for the alternatives sector.
Currently, she is the MAS-licensed representative for a HK-listed fund looking to localize in Singapore, fresh off a 2-year stint in a technology consulting company heading their Corporate Development's Merger & Acquisitions department.
Previously, she was Investment Principal and Investment Consultant at a Singaporean Family Office and Hong Kong Multi-Asset Fund, working on multiple projects and principal investments. Sector coverage include TMT (Telecommunications, Media, Technology), Consumer Internet, Entertainment (Film, Content, IPs), Real Estate, Health and Wellness and more.
Prior to that, she was Corporate Strategy and Investment Manager at Singaporean Smart City firm, overseeing major projects, including the M&A of several projects relating to AI Recognition, Cyber-security, Cryptocurrency, Management Systems and etcetera. She was also leading stakeholder management with several government entities. Prior to that, she lead Growth Strategy at an ASEAN Movement Marketing platform, where she grew the Singapore user base from scratch.
She graduated from National University of Singapore in 2014 with a Bachelors of Business Administration (Accountancy) with a minor in Marketing. She is also a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) since 2019.
